When your employer gives you a job to do, it is your responsibility to complete it. If you do not finish the work, you have not met your responsibility. If you do not do the work accurately, you have not met your responsibility. If you do not do the work in allotted time, you have not met your responsibility.
Occasionally almost everyone will have trouble meeting goal, but if it happens repeatedly, you may well be looking for employment elsewhere.
Responsibility does not include only those jobs that your employer assigns to you; it also includes those jobs that you assign yourself. When you see a job that needs to be done, you should take the responsibility of doing it before someone points it out to you.
Accept responsibility willingly. Remember to do the jobs that are assigned to you completely and in a timely fashion. Look for other jobs that need to be done and complete them on your own. Soon you will develop the reputation that you are indeed a responsible person.
